Mahila Vidyalaya is a center for girls’ education. It has been a center for education for almost 80 years, not just today. Mrs. Shakuntala Shastri’s goal was to educate girls so that a new society could emerge .
For everyone was well aware that if the women of the household are educated, the entire family becomes educated; and if the family is educated, society becomes educated. It is now our responsibility to carry forward this inspiring work initiated by those great souls.
