At Shrimati Shakuntla Shastri Smarak Mahila Inter School (SSSSMIC), we believe that discipline, respect, responsibility, and good conduct are essential parts of a student’s education. School Discipline

Every student is expected to maintain discipline and follow the instructions of the Principal, teachers, and school staff.
Students should behave respectfully towards teachers, staff members, classmates, and visitors.
Students must maintain proper discipline inside classrooms, corridors, laboratories, playgrounds, and other school premises.
Fighting, bullying, threatening, teasing, or any form of inappropriate behavior is strictly prohibited.
Students are expected to maintain the dignity and reputation of the school at all times.

Attendance & Punctuality

Students should attend school regularly and arrive before the scheduled school time.
Regular attendance is essential for academic progress.
Students should not leave the school premises during school hours without proper permission.
In case of absence, parents/guardians should inform the school and provide the required leave application.
Repeated or unexplained absence may be subject to disciplinary action as per school rules.

School Uniform & Appearance

Students must come to school in the prescribed school uniform on all regular school days.
The uniform should be clean, neat, and properly maintained.
Students should maintain a simple, clean, and appropriate appearance suitable for a school environment.
Jewellery, expensive accessories, or other unnecessary items should not be brought to school.

Academic Responsibilities

Students are expected to attend all classes regularly and participate actively in academic activities.
Homework, classwork, assignments, and projects should be completed on time.
Students should carry the required books, notebooks, stationery, and other learning materials to school.
Students must not use unfair means in tests or examinations.
Students should respect the learning environment and avoid disturbing the class.

Mobile Phones & Electronic Devices

Students should not bring mobile phones or unauthorized electronic devices to school without prior permission from the school authorities.
Misuse of electronic devices on school premises is strictly prohibited.
The school may take appropriate action if a student is found using an unauthorized device during school hours.

Safety & Security

Students must follow all safety instructions issued by the school.
Students should immediately report any unsafe situation, accident, bullying, or inappropriate behavior to a teacher or school authority.
Students must not enter restricted areas without permission.
Visitors and parents/guardians are required to follow the school’s visitor and security procedures.

Cleanliness & School Property

Students must keep classrooms, corridors, washrooms, playgrounds, and other school areas clean.
Waste should always be placed in designated dustbins.
Students must take proper care of school furniture, books, equipment, laboratory materials, and other school property.
Any intentional damage to school property may result in appropriate disciplinary action and recovery of the cost of damage.

Respectful Behaviour

Students are expected to use polite and respectful language.
Discrimination, harassment, bullying, insulting, or humiliating another student is not acceptable.
Students should respect the privacy, dignity, and personal belongings of others.
Students should demonstrate good manners and responsible behavior both inside and outside the school.

Parent/Guardian Cooperation

Parents and guardians are encouraged to maintain regular communication with the school regarding their child’s academic progress, attendance, and overall development.

Parents should:

Attend parent-teacher meetings whenever required.
